Routines and basketball

I can't believe its already June. I swear time goes by way too fast. Even weekends are just a blur to me. Every Monday morning like today, I find myself wondering why I didn't get enough rest during the weekend and always have to look forward to getting myself prepped up for the upcoming weekly meetings. Life is beginning to look like a long routine filled in with series of daily routines. Its not a bad thing, but for me, it makes me lose a sense of time, and before I know it I'll be in my 50's wondering what the heck happened the last couple decades.

On a different note, I've been trying to find new people to play basketball with. I haven't been successful so far, but I've been trying some completely new approaches, so I'll see what I come up with. My goal really is to find a good solid team, and possibly compete against other teams in the area and eventually enter tournaments. I'll be honest, at the moment I'm no where good to even compete in non-pickup games, but again.. its just a goal of mines.

Speaking of basketball, I am really excited that the Orlando Magic are now playing in the Finals. I've been pulling for this team since 1992 and finally they are back in the finals after 14 years. I have complete confidence that they can beat the Black Mamba and the Lakers. Can't wait for Thursday night's (Friday morning for me) game 1. Go Magic!!
